A silver hammered coin probably dating from Post Medieval period. It is probably a penny of James I, showing a crowned rose. The other face is illegible. It could also be a halfpenny of Edward I to Edward III, the reverse obverse possibly depicting a forward facing crowned bust. The coin, which has been bent into a dish-shape, has a diameter of 12.80mm, and a thickness of 1.50mm, although the thickness of the flan is 0.12mm. It weighs 0.79g. Compare number 2106 on page 146 of North (Volume II).
