A copper alloy Post Medieval Nuremberg jetton of Hans Schultes I (1553 - 1584), Rose/orb type with fictitious legends, wedge initial mark, and normal tressure, but unsigned, dating from AD 1553 - 1584. Minted at Nuremberg. See Mitchiner (1988) number 1370 - 1375 on page 403 - 404. The jetton is 24.6mm in diameter, 0.8mm thick and weighs 1.10g.

A Post-medieval, copper alloy, rose/orb jetton of Numerberg, dating from AD 1586 - 1635, from the workshop of Hans Krauwinkel II. It has a small, circular perforation at one edge and a flan crack 9.9mm in length. The reverse legend is illegible. Mitchiner (1988) number 1505 forwards (page 436). It is 20.5mm in diameter and 0.3mm thick. It weighs 0.71g.

A post-medieval, copper alloy jetton of Nuremberg, probably from the workshop of Iorg or Hans Schultes, dating from the 1550s. Rose orb type with a six petelled rose and a sinple tressure with an annulet in each outer angle of the tressure. The legends appear to be semi-literate. Compare Mitchiner number 1309 - 1341, but there is no exact match. It is 24.3mm in diameter and 0.4mm thick. It weighs 1.28g.

Reverse: Four fleurs in a lozenge. (HANS) SCHVLTES [ZV NVREN]
Compare Mitchiner (1988) Volume One; Jetons, Medalets and Tokens, page 407, number 1387. It has a diameter of 25.5mm diameter, 0.7mm thick and 1.38g. The jetton is cracked, and has been folded at some point.

A copper-alloy post medieval Nuremberg 'Rose/orb' jetton, dating from about AD 1500-1711. Obverse: three crowns alternately with three Lis, arranged centrifugally around a central Rose. Reverse: imperial orb surmounted by a cross pattee within a tressure with three main arches. The details and legends are illegible. It has a diameter of 24.5mm, 0.4mm thick and 0.54g. The jetton is cracked, and some pieces are missing.

A copper alloy Nuremberg jetton, dating from about AD 1490 - 1550, Ship penny type with 'four lis in a lozenge' reverse. The jetton depicts a ship with the stern to the right, and a pellet above the yardarm and sail. The legends are fictitious. The reverse has four fleur de is in a double lozenge, with three annulets along the outer edge of each side of the lozenge. A copper alloy Post Medieval jetton, probably an anonymous Rose / Orb type with ficitious legends dating from AD 1500 - 1550. The jetton has a normal size orb and no decoration round the tressure. Compare Mitchiner number 1237 onwards (page 382). The jetton is 22.7mm diameter, 0.8mm thick and 1.06g. It is bent, and is also pierced from the rose side, between 11 and 12 o'clock on the orb face.

A corroded, copper alloy jetton probably made in Nuremberg and dating from the 16th century. The obverse is illegible, but appears not to be three crowns and three fleurs. The reverse depicts an imperial orb surmounted by a cross pattee, within a tressure of three arches. The legends are indecipherable.The jetton is 19.2mm in diameter and 0.4mm thick It weighs 0.35gm.

A copper alloy Post Medieval German jetton, minted in Nuremberg. The jetton was produced by Hans Krauwinckel II (1586-1635). It measures 20.18mm x 19.7mm x 0.8mm, weighing 0.73g. The legends are illegible in places so therefore it is not possible to pin it down to an exact type. However for a similar example, see Mitchiner, 1553.
