The arrowheads are both broken: one at the side tang; the other at the central tang. Both artefacts have been retouched on both surfaces and particularly along the left and right edges. On the ventral side of the object the bulb of percussion can be seen at the narrow end, this is also where the striking platform is located. A flint barbed and tanged arrowhead dating from the Late Neolithic or Early Bronze Age period of 2500 - 1500 BC. The arrowhead is 27mm long and 25mm wide. It has pointed tangs and a fairly square end to the tang. It may be a Sutton type. It is invasively retouched and has been carefully worked. The flint is a light orangey grey colour and appears to be completely patinated. Barbed and tanged arrowheads are frequently found in graves containing Beaker vessels. A discoidal invasively retouched flint scraper which is probably Late Neolithic or Early Bronze Age in date. The scraper is sub-circular and is 38.1mm long, 37mm wide and 9.6mm thick. It is invasively worked apart from the proximal end which is cortical. There is semi abrupt retouch on the distal end and sides. The flint is mid grey in colour and is hardly patinated. A discoidal flint scraper dating from the Neolithic period. It is 41mm in diameter and 12.1mm thick. It weighs 17.37gm. The flint is dark grey and opaque. There is a striking platform at the proximal end, but the rest of the convex edges are retouched with semi-abrupt and abrupt removals. There are also some invasive removals. There are some chips in the edge which are later damage. Similar scrapers can be seen in figure 53 of “Prehistoric Flintwork” by Butler (2005).

A large flint knife dating from the Later Neolithic period. It is 94.8mm long, 78.4mm wide and 20.1mm thick. It weighs 152.15gm. The knife is oval in plan and has been flaked and partially polished. It is worked from both faces. There is some edge damage but it is not clear whether this is from use or damage caused by being on a beech. See figure 70 on page 101 of Stone Tools and Society by Mark Edmonds for a similar example.

Nine complete flint micro burins of late Mesolithic date (6300-4300 BC). The lithics range from ovate to sub-rectangular in profile. Seven of the micro burins have a single tapered pointed aspects at the distal end, two have double pointed facets at the distal end. Three of the lithic retain a minor portion of cortex, all have been invasively flaked and have all been retouched.
