A flint core of probable late Neolithic to Early Bronze Age date, circa 2500 - 1500 BC. The core is sub-triangular in plan, with an irregular cross section. It is brown in colour with buff coloured sections of cortex on both the dorsal and ventral sides. The dorsal side has numerous flakes removed from a number of different striking platforms and percussion points.

A Mesolithic flint multi-platform core, dating to the period c.9000-4000BC. It was probably used for the production of bladelets. The core exhibits 3 striking platforms and exhibits a number of negative flake scars. One face is particularly well worked with at least 9 negative flake scars all removed in the same direction. The flint is dark grey in colour and retains c.<15% cortex of its total area.
The core measures 36.98mm in length, 34.05mm in width, 17.05mm in thickness and weighs 22.48g.

A flint core. The core is roughly pointed oval in cross-section and roughly rectangular in plan. The proximal end is flat and all of the elongated flakes now represented by scars and bulbs of percussion run from this end. Some of the scars have a reddish-rust coloured patina. Probably late Mesolithic given the style of flake removal.

A flint core made from an elongated nodule of flint. The nodule is roughly rectangular in plan, oval in cross-section and comma shaped in profile. The concave side is covered with a brown coloured cortex. Flake scars run between 60 and 70mm in length and have been taken from both ends. The flint is dark brown in colour. Possibly Mesolithic given the length of the blades being knapped.
