Truncated piece, with snapped at the proximal end. There are two arrises on the dorsal face with retouching present on the right and left mesial sides and distal end. The ventral face does not contain a bulb of percussion or striking platform as they have been separated from the rest of the core, however the ripple marks are still present on the ventral face. Retouching present on the right and left mesial sides. There is a cover of patina over the flint piece, covering approximately 30% of the surface area. Its length is 13.40mm, width 6.29mm, thickness 6.13mm, weight 0.23g.

Retouched flake. Triangular prism shaped flint flake covered in a white/blue patina covering the majority of the surface area, the remainder is covered in iron spots. The dorsal face contains four arrises and flake scars. The mesial sides at almost at right angles to the ventral face, with retouching present on both mesial sides. The ventral face has a prominent bulb of percussion and striking platform on the right side of the proximal end. The distal end tapes to a retouched point, which appears to have been made from a feathered termination point. Its length is 37.17mm, width 15.19,

A Retouched and Notched Flint Flake. The translucent grey flint is almost completely covered with an opaque white patina. The dorsal face is plain but the ventral face has been retouched and notched on the right edge that exposes the translucent flint and suggests it was retouched at a later date. The bulb of percussion on the ventral face is very prominent. The length is 24.3mm, the width is 39.6mm and the weight is 5.37g.

A Mesolithic to Early Bronze Age retouched flake. The translucent dark grey flint is heavily patinated off white and has a patch of cortex. The flake has been broken at the proximal end and fine retouch along edge of the dorsal face. Both of these expose the dark grey flint core, which suggests that the flake was reused at a later date. The length is 25.2mm, the width is 15.9mm, the thickness is 7.8mm and the weight is 3.32g.

A retouched flint blade dating from the Neolithic period. It is sub-rectangular in plan and sub triangular in section. The left edge has fine abrupt retouch in the middle but the flint is not a formal tool form. Damage to the retouched area suggests that the flint was used for scraping rather than cutting. The flint is opaque with veins and areas of red colouration. It is well patinated.

A flint tool; a retouched blade dating from the Neolithic period, about 3500 BC - 2100 BC. The tool is formed on a secondary flake of dark brown opaque flint. The dorsal face is partially cortex. There is an area of very fine semi-abrupt retouch on the right side, but from the ventral face. The flint is not patinated.

A flint tool with no obvious striking platform dating from the Neolithic period. The small worked flake is sub triangular and has multiple arises on the dorsal face from previous removals. The left side shows evidence of denticulate removal towards the tip and has been snapped down the side; the object may quite possibly have been embedded in wood and notched in order to break it. The concave base shows evidence of semi-abrupt retouching, probably to aid hafting. The ventral face is smooth and only slightly concave in the centre, from the base to the tip. The object is an opaque mediu…

A retouched flake probably dating from about the late Mesolithic (6500 BC-3500 BC). The blade is formed from semi translucent grey flint which is sub rectangular in section. It has been worked on one face, with abrupt fine retouch at the distal end and on the right side. Inclusions in the flint are visible at the proximal end and at two small intervals along the left side. There is also fine retouch just to the right of the proximal end.

Three retouched flakes dating from about the Mesolithic to Neolithic periods (8500 BC - 2100 BC). Their total weight is 3.64g. Flake 1 - A sub circular secondary flake with rippling on the dorsal face and slight rippling on the ventral face. The left edge, as seen from the dorsal face is possibly broken and the right edge has semi-abrupt retouch along the curved edge and slight modification to the tip at the distal end. The object was probably retouched for casual use as a tool. It is an opaque dark brown over most of the flake and light grey around the edges; there is light brow…

A fragment of a Mesolithic to Neolithic flint retouched blade which has been reused as an awl or graver. The blade is broken at the distal and proximal ends, and the dorsal face is covered with invasive scalar retouch. The flint is grey and has hardly any patination, but an inclusion is visible at the proximal end across the break, and may explain why the blade broke. The left side of the blade has been further retouched to for a projecting point which may have been used as an awl or engraving tool. The tool is D shaped in section.

A flint tool fabricated from a secondary, struck blade of dark brown flint. There is a small bulb of percussion at the proximal end of the blade, with ripples of percussion across the ventral face. The dorsal face has two small areas of cortex remaining and has scars where three previous blades have been removed. The blade has been worked along both long edges and around the the distal end using short, sub-parallel, semi-abrupt retouch to create scraping edges. This tool probably dates to the Neolithic period.

A retouched flint flake, possibly a scraper, of possible late Neolithic/early Bronze Age date, dating from about 3300 BC - 1000 BC. The flint is a tertiary flake, being opaque and brown in colour. There is no patination. It is sub-triangular in plan and sub-rectangular in section. There is inconsistent short, sub-parallel, semi-abrupt soft hammer retouch to the left hand end of the distal end forming the scraper edge, applied from the ventral face of the flint. There is similar retouch on the left side at the distal end. The flint is 38.1mm long x 51.5mm wide x 7.4mm thick. Weight 14.4 g.

Flint retouched flake of probable broad Neolithic date (4000 - 2200 BC). The flint is a light grey/honey coloured tertiary flake, and is predominantly opaque but translucent at the thinner edges. It is sub-oval in plan and sub-elliptical in section with invasive, scaled, removals from the left hand side of the dorsal face, but not retouched on the edge. There is very fine, abrupt, sub-parallel short retouch on the concave part of the right edge. The flake is 22.9mm long x 22.7mm wide x 5.9mm thick. Weight 2.8g.
