Late Mesolithic to Neolithic flaked flint adze. Worked on both faces. Has one flat long edge, tapering away across width to sharp long edge (roughly triangluar in section). 109mm long, 46mm tapering to 24mm wide, 28mm tapering to 16mm thick.

A complete knapped lithic implement of Neolithic date, circa 3500 - 2100 BC. The implement is a side scraper formed from a secondary flake which is ovate in plan with a triangular section. The ventral surface is smooth with ripples of percussion radiating from the bulb of percussion and striking platform. The dorsal surface is irregular having had two long flakes removed and displays negative scars and corresponding arises. Shallow retouch is present along one long edge. A complete knapped lithic implement of Neolithic date, circa 3500 - 2100 BC. The implement is a scraper formed from a primary flake which is ovate in both plan and section. The ventral surface is irregular with fracturing around the edges while the dorsal surface is smooth retaining its cortex. Shallow retouch is present along the curved edge of the flake. The flint is a light grey colour with lighter inclusions. The implement is 32.6mm long, 24.7mm wide, 10.8mm thick and weighs 9.9g. A complete knapped lithic implement of Neolithic date, circa 3500 - 2100 BC. The implement is an end scraper formed on a tertiary flake. It is sub-rectangular in plan and trapezoidal in section. The bulb of percussion and bulbar scars remain on the ventral surface from which ripples of percussion radiate, probably produced by soft hammer technique. The dorsal surface has two flake removals and the distal edge has abrupt, short sub-parallel retouch and may have been used as a scraper or blade. The flint is a light brown colour.
