A Roman lead steelyard weight, dating to c. AD 43 - 410. The object is large and globular with a flattened base, a subcircular central recess and iron staining. At the top are the remnants of an iron suspension loop, centrally placed. There are no surface markings and the object has a creamy white colour. Roman steelyard weights are usually biconical, but weights of other shapes may also be Roman. Diameter 49.8 mm, thickness 27.8 mm and weight 470.8 g.

An incomplete copper alloy Roman disc brooch, dating to c. AD 100 - 250. The brooch comprises a sub-circular plate which has two concentric recessed circles creating cells for enamel on the front face and at the centre. The outer cell retains substantial degraded light green/blue enamel, the centre cell has traces of dark blue enamel. A possible late Bronze Age, plano-convex, bronze ingot or "cake" (c. 1150 - 600 BC). A cast copper alloy openwork strap fitting of post medieval date (c. AD 1600 - 1700). The overall shape is piriform, the main plate is an openwork foliate head, the beard of which forms a bottom knop. A smaller upper knop has the moulded features of a grinning face. The reverse is flat and has two attachment spikes, one broken and both bent over. The spikes appear to be soldered onto the plate rather than integrally cast. The whole object has a dust green patina.
