A complete cast copper alloy button of late medieval or early post-medieval date (c. AD 1400 - 1600). The head is pyramidal, with a lozenge-shaped base and a flat reverse. The front is decorated with a relief design of a central cross running from corner to corner, dividing the button into four triangular fields. Each field has a small lis in the centre. The head measures 11 mm along the axis and is 4 mm thick. An incomplete cast copper alloy dome or knop-headed terminal with a ridged collar, possibly from a Roman or early medieval pin (c. AD 43 - 600). The head is decorated with incised lines forming a five pointed star with the arms pointing down to the collar. The shank is roughly square in section, 3.5 mm thick. It extends 10 mm from the flat base of the head before terminating in an old break. No exact parallel can be found, but square shanked, knop-headed pins are described on this database, for example LIN-AAA6E1. Diameter 8 mm and weight 2.2 g.

A copper alloy disk brooch, probably of Roman date (c. AD 100 - 200). The surface is decorated with a six pointed star with lugs at each point. The star forms a cell which is filled with red enamel. A circular central cell is filled with blue enamel. Traces of blue enamel are also in the spaces between the arms of the star, The object is incomplete. The reverse has a spring mechanism, the pin and part of catch plate are missing, and only one of the peripheral lugs that decorated the points of the star is present. A copper alloy spiral finger ring dating from the Bronze Age to middle Iron Age, (c. 1500 - 500 BC). The ring is formed from a spiral comprising one complete hoops and two partial hoops. The hoop has a sub-circular cross section, 4 mm diameter. The ring has a dark patina and patches of corrosion. A post medieval bi-face lead token. Powell type 3 (raised line segments) and type 14 (cross with pellet in each angle). Fletcher (2005) notes that cross and pellet tokens were probably inspired by late Tudor coins, suggesting a post medieval date (c. AD 1520 -  1600). A badly worn and corroded copper alloy possible button. It is possible this is a livery or hunt button of post medieval date (c. AD 1700 - 1850). The object is a slightly convex disc with a relief moulding of a beast, possibly a pseudo-heraldic animal such as a lion or dog, with long tail curving over the back. The reverse is highly corroded but has a patch which may be the remains of an attachment lug.  CF record NMGW-42C745. A copper alloy post medieval pipe tamper, of the type which incorporates a ring and seal (c. AD 1600 - 1700). The two artefacts; finger ring and pipe tamper, were often combined in the 17th century. The finger ring element has a flat circular bezel; most similar examples on this database have a design or initials, allowing the bezel to form a seal matrix.
