A complete knapped stone axehead of late Neolithic date, c. 2700 - 2300 BC.  The axehead is formed of a coarse brown stone. It is sub-ovate in plan; narrower at the butt end with sides which widen to the crescentic cutting edge. The axe has a humped profile and an irregular oval cross section. The surface of one side is pitted. The axehead is 81.2mm long, 44.6mm wide, 22.1mm thick and weighs 92.5g. It is impossible to source axes such as these without a detailed petrological analysis of the rock. This would allow the original source of the rock to be established.

The ventral surface is flat and smooth. Short, stepped, semi-abrupt retouch is present along the curved edge and into each side of the dorsal surface. A flint end scraper of probable neolithic date, 4000 BC - 2200 BC. It is formed on a patinated tertiary flake of mottled grey flint. It is sub-rectangular but curves to the left at the distal end. The distal end has short, abrupt, sub-parallel retouch and to form a scraper. There is also a retouched notch on the right side at the proximal end, worked from the ventral face. Measurements are; length 32.3mm, width 20.1mm, thickness 7.4mm and weight 4.95g.

The flake is oval and curves to the left at the distal end. The outer part of the curved right side has short, abrupt, sub-parallel retouch. There are also removal scars on the dorsal face and left side.  Measurements are; length 31.2mm, width 19.1mm, thickness 7.7mm and weight 3.95g.

A flint core of probable Neolithic date 4000 BC - 2200 BC. It is a patinated tertiary chunk which is piriform in plan and D shaped in cross-section. It is an irregular core with two striking platforms at right angles to each other. One is at the pointed distal end. The other is the flat ventral face from which the removals forming the rounded proximal end have been worked. The core produced flakes.
