A rim sherd from a burnished, hand made bowl of later Iron Age or early Roman date (possibly Black Burnished ware 1). The fabric is reduced dark grey to black with a coarse sand temper and abundant mica. The rim is plain and was originally around 160mm in diameter. There is no decoration to the surface, but thumb impressions from the potter are evident around the interior side.

Copper alloy brooch fragment. Probably the lower bow from a large headstud brooch, Mackreth type Headstud 3.a or 5.a (depending on whether the lost pin was sprung or hinged). The mid to lower bow bears about eight rectangular cells apt to receive enamel, though no trace of colorant appears. The bow tapers gently to a drum-shaped pedestal foot with an annulus in its base. An incomplete copper-alloy late Iron Age to early Roman looped toggle fastener. The toggle has a semi circular loop, 20.9mm wide, projecting from one long side of a cylindrical body. This body is 16.9mm in diameter, decorated with two incised circumferential bands and has a conical terminal with a small apical knop. One end of the body has broken away to reveal the hollow interior of the casting.

Fragment of late Iron Age copper-alloy D-shaped terret, now very corroded but perhaps originally enamelled. It has a sub-circular or slightly oval upright collar terminal 13.7mm wide, 12.1mm tall and 4.8mm thick. From one side of this projects a triangular-section upper ring, with a flat inner and an angled outer. On the other side of the collar, at its base, is a stub of the attachment bar which shows that this was rectangular-section, 6.5 x 3.4mm, and set vertically.
