Stone prehistoric loom or net weight, (2150BC-100AD). The object is a sub-oval stone which has been worked to create a weight used with either a loom or a net. At the narrower end of the object, a hole has been bored through from one side of the stone to the other, creating a perforation with which to attach the weight. The perforation is regular and larger on one side than the other. The larger side of the perforation measures 15.28mm in diameter. The smaller side is 11.09mm in diameter.
