The sherd is a body fragment of an unknown type of vessel. The fabric is tempered with occassional medium shell fragments. The fabric is a light grey coloured core and red/orange coloured surfaces.
The fabric may have been wheel made, and is possibly dated to the Roman to Medieval periods.

A rim sherd of a hand made late Bronze Age/ early Iron Age pottery vessel. The rim is rounded and the breaks are fresh. The fabric is quite hard with frequent small to medium shelly inclusions. The fabric has a light brown/grey core with mottled brown external surfaces.

A body sherd from a hand-made ceramic vessel. The wall thickness is uneven and is a maximum of 12.6mm. The fabric is a dark grey coloured shelley ware. The shell inclusions are occassional, but are quite large. It is likely to be Bronze Age or Iron Age in date.

A heavily abraded body sherd, possibly of late Bronze Age - early Iron Age date. Shelly fabric, with frequent and large shell inclusions. The exterior surface is pale orange, the interior surface is red/orange and the core is dark grey. The thickness of the walls varies slightly, which is indicative of a hand-made vessel.
