Fragment of penannular copper alloy middle Bronze Age spiral twisted torc. The fragment is 68.5mm long, 54mm of which is comprised of a twisted spiral with curved peaks (5.8mm thick) and troughs (4.5mm thick), and the remainder is narrowed to a circular section (3.2mm in diameter). The fragment has a dark green to black patina with old breaks at either end. Based on the curvature of this fragment the estimated original diameter of the whole torc would be approximately 220mm.
