A slightly corroded, damaged cast copper-alloy Late Bronze Age 'bag-shaped' dagger scabbard chape. The object has a rounded end, slightly flattened at the base perhaps through wear. The attachment end has suffered some losses but is broadly U-shaped after a removal, with a raised border. On each side are three punched ring-and-dot motifs in an arc aligned with the attachment end. These bear internal concentric rings as part of the production process.
