Fragment of a cast copper alloy object, probably a chape from a scabbard, incomplete with no surviving original edges, V shaped section 1.9mm thick, signs of an incipient keel down length, part way down the inside is a transverse bar probably intended to strengthen the section. While it is not possible to be certain this object may be a fragment of a Bronze Age chape of Wilburtion type. Length 45.1, Width 13.0mm, Thickness 9.6mm, Mass 6.67g
