Copper metal working debris. A small irregularly shaped fragment of solidified copper alloy slag. All surfaces are uneven with vesicles, and there are a few small black flecks, possibly of charcoal, incorporated. The fragment is corroded and there are patches of green verdigris generally present.
The maximum length is 65.5mm, width is 30.5mm and thickness is 21.9mm, and it weighs 88.3gms.
A mid-late Bronze age spearhead, recorded as PUBLIC-5374D9, was found quite close to this item.

Three copper-alloy fragments of the Bronze Age to Post Medieval period metal working debris, dating to 1500 BC- AD 1800.
1. The first fragment is oval in plan and in cross-section. It has irregular front and back surfaces. Length: 25.50 mm. Width: 19.75 mm. Thickness: 6.88 mm. Weight: 11.96 g.
2. The second fragment is sub-oval in plan and slightly curved in profile. The curved face is smoother and bears shallow protrusions. Length: 34.02 mm. Width: 32.18 mm. Thickness: 4.56 mm. Weight: 16.94 g.

A piece of copper metal working debris. A small irregularly shaped fragment of solidified copper slag. The surface is lumpy and uneven with one side flatter than the other, which may indicate that the molten slag solidified onto a flat surface. Both faces are corroded with dark and lighter green verdigris generally present.
The maximum dimensions are 27.3 by 23.4 across by 7.9mm thick, and it weighs 12.7 grams.
