A fragment of copper alloy metalworking debris of uncertain date. Very irregular in shape with a heavily pitted and corroded surface. The fragment of late Bronze Age metalwork reported here is the second find of such metalwork to have been made after the initial discovery of the dispersed hoard from High Laver. The treasure number for this fragment is 2010.T36. For convenience, the text of the original report on this High Laver hoard is given in the appendix below. A cast copper-alloy fragment of metal working debris, a casting sprue or jet. Conical in shape with the flat circular face rough and uneven to the touch and the triangular face smooth to the touch. This fragment measures 21mm across its circular face and 8mm in thickness. It could date from the Bronze Age to the post medieval period.
