A possible copper-alloy metal working debris fragment of uncertain date from the Bronze Age to the Post- Medieval period. It is sub-oval in plan with irregular sides. The back is partially flat while the front face is irregularly concave. The shape and surface suggest the way the fragment was formed, probably through dripping and drying of the melted metal. A medium-sized lump of casting waste of possibly Bronze Age date, c. 1500-800 BC. It is heavily corroded and of highly irregular form. Preserved in relatively poor condition, it measures 38.16mm long down its longest axis, 28.05mm wide, and weighs 39.9g. This piece of waste was found in the same vicinity as SF-3CEE7A, though due to the undiagnostic nature of metalworking debris in general it is uncertain whether they are associated.

A fragment from a cast copper alloy object of uncertain date. It is flat, sub-rectangular in shape and rectangular in section. On one face are traces of what appears to be a white metal coating, while on the opposite face the object has been left rough and unfinished. It measures 18.63mm in width, 13.31mm in height, 3.99mm in thickness, and weighs 4.43g. This is possibly a fragment from a larger finished object, although it is equally plausible that it is a by-product of metal working. Not enough of the object survives to be certain of its form or function and it could therefore date t…

A copper-alloy casting sprue of uncertain date. It is circular in shape with a conical profile and slightly concave flat front face. From the back of the sprue extends a sub-triangular prong, a second corresponding prong now missing due to old breaks. The entire object measures 22.37mm in height, 20.52mm in diameter, and weighs 25.02g. This is a sprue resultant from the casting of copper-alloy. It is of uncertain date ranging from the Bronze Age through to Post-Medieval periods, although finds from the same site may indicate a possible Roman date.
