Copper alloy circular hoop. The hoop is not a complete circle and the terminals taper to points with a gap of about 4mm between. The hoop is plain and undecorated but there is a rib running along the centre of the metal around the circumference. These objects are impossible to accurately date when out of context but have been cited as parts of jewellery (possibly earrings or hair decorations) from a Bronze Age context right through to Medieval times. The piece weighs 2.03g and measures 20.16mm in length, 19.2mm in width and 3.18mm in thickness.
