An incomplete cast copper-alloy fragment originating from a probable Ewart Park socketed gouge of Late Bronze Age date, c. 1000-800 BC. Only the lower edge of the gouge survives, consisting the working end of the object, with almost all of its upper socketed section broken away in old damage. It is circular in section, tapering to form a chisel-like edge with a broadly 'V' shaped deep recess in one side. Casting seams are visible on both sides of the object, though these are now somewhat eroded. Preserved in fair condition with an even greenish patina, it survives to a length of 33.31…

A fragment of a copper alloy late Bronze Age socketed gouge. Only the tip of the blade end survives. This is crescent-shaped in cross-section, narrowing towards the outer blade end and expanding at the broken inner socket end. There is a circular indendation in the centre of the inner end, which is the remains of the inner end of socket. The surface of the metal is corroded and the break is well worn, but races of dark green patina survive on both faces. A complete copper alloy socketed gouge of Late Bronze Age date, 1200-800 BC. The socketed edge is worn and is circular with a diameter of 16.31mm. Two longitudinal casting seems can be determined. The gouge measures 51.68mm in length, 15.13mm in width at the blade end, and weighs 27.92g. There concave face is plain, with green corrosion along the sides and round the cutting edge. The patination is dark green.

A bronze gouge fragment of a late Bronze Age gouge, only the blade end survives and the rest is missing due to old breaks. The blade is slightly expanded and assymetrical. Patinated a medium green. The balde is damaged possibly due to recent damage. Measuring 31.26mm in length and 15.74mm in width across the blade endand 15.07mm in width across the incomplete end, it is 10.01mm in thickness. Very similar to another blade fragment from Gillingham, Norfolk, see SF-ED16D7.

An incomplete socketed gouge of late Bronze Age date, 1200-800 BC. The gouge measures 78mm in surviving length, 14mm in width at the blade end and 15mm at the break. The butt end is missing due to an old break, now worn, the socket is circular in cross-section at the break. The blade is exteremely worn and damaged. There are linear longitudinal abrasion grooves on the concave face there are also dents and surface scratches elsewhere which may be agricultural damage. The patination is dark green aprt from small pocks of lighter powdery green corrosive products.

Small fragment from the mouth of a copper-alloy socketed object. The socket is rounded and there is a slight mouth moulding. The fragment is too flimsy to have come from a socketed axe; it is probably from a socketed gouge or a leather worker's knife. There is a medium/dark green/grey patina all over the fragment, including the worn breaks, with frequent small patches of pale green invasive corrosion products. Surviving length 16.5 mm, surviving width 15 mm, maximum thickness thickness (at moulding) 3 mm, weight 2.95g. Late Bronze Age.
