A flint knapped flake of possible Bronze Age date. The ventral face retains a bulb of percussion. No signs of retouch remain to suggest that this flake was prepared for a specific use. The flint is of a mottled light to dark grey colour, with a strip of cortex on the dorsal distal end. It measures 46.7 mm long, 48.8 mm wide, 6.4 mm thick and weighs 20 grams.

Heat treated primary flake in dark brown flint which appears to have further flakes removed from both sides. Heating and rapid cooling has left the flint with many internal flaws, which have caused the flakes to crumble rather than detach in the usual manner. 80 x 41 x 16.5mm. Late prehistoric.
