Tertiary semi-hard hammer struck flake, of unpatinated glossy pale brown translucent flint, Platform removed by steep retouch, one lateral edge has two shallow notches (both c. 7 mm wide, 2 mm deep), the straighter, opposing edge is finely use-worn, probably from use as a knife. This maybe a "simple" version of a plano-convex knife. Early Bronze Age, 2350 to 1500 BC.
