A small flint Levalloisian core of likely early Bronze Age date c. 2200-1000 BC. Description: The core is irregularly shaped with two striking platforms at right angles. The core has distinctive 'tortoise shell' flaking typical of Levalloisian production technique, however it is far smaller than the tools being produced during the Middle-Palaeolithic and likely relates to the use of the technique during the early Bronze Age. A possible levallois core rejuvenation flake of likely early Bronze Age date c.2200-1000BC. Description: The core is irregularly shaped and has a battered striking platform. Much of the surface is covered with various flaking scars, one side has preparation flaking. There appears to be retouch along parts of the tapering end of the flake, it can be described as short, scaled, semi-abrupt retouch along the square jutting tab at the bottom of the flake possibly indicating its reuse as a scraper or similar. A discoidal flint core of likely Later Neolithic or Early Bronze Age date. The core is semi-circular with one one flat striking platform which has some evidence of platform dressing, with attempts having been made to flatten it. The core has been split in half leaving this core with a dorsal and ventral side. The dorsal side has had a number of irregular flakes take from it. The ventral face has a shallow bulb of percussion which has had a a few shallow flakes taken from it.
