Circumstances of find
The top of one urn was uncovered while digging footings for a garden feature. Reported to Manor House Museum, Ilkley and referred to an archaeological unit (Archaeological Services, West Yorkshire Archaeology Service), The remainder of the material was excavated under controlled conditions.
