A cast copper-alloy tip from a middle to late Bronze Age spearhead, knife, rapier or sword dating c. 1500-800 BC. The fragment is triangular and lozenge in cross-section. The tip is pointed, from which the sides expand gradually before terminating at an old worn transverse break. The surfaces are undecorated and have a dark green patina with some laminated areas of light green. The entire object is worn with widespread scratching and pitting on the surfaces and damage to the edges.
The fragment measures 18.7mm in length, 10.1mm in width, 2.9mm in thickness and weighs 1.45 grams.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy fragment of a blade dating to the Middle Bronze Age (c. 1500-1200 BC). The fragment is broadly rectangular and lozenge-shape in cross section. This is typical of the Bronze Age. The edges of the blade are narrow, uneven and very worn. The corners are rounded. The blade is not parallel with one end slightly wider and thicker than the other. Neither face is decorated. All surfaces have an uneven mid brown and mid to dark green patina.
The blade measures 44.9mm in length, 15.4mm in width, 4.3mm in thickness and weighs 13.14 grams.

An incomplete copper-alloy blade of Bronze Age date, probably from a rapier or similar object. A short length of the blade from close to the tip is preserved, missing both ends and part of one wing due to old breaks. The surviving fragment is triangular in form, pointed oval in section with oval mid rib. The cutting edges are flattened and are partially incomplete due to old breaks. It measures 63.53mm in length, 18.70mm in width, 5.05mm in thickness and 16.62g in weight.
This is a fragment from a cast copper-alloy object of probable Bronze Age date. It is likely to be from a blad…

A fragment of copper alloy which appears to be an incomplete section of a blade. It is possible that this fragment is a small part of a blade of Bronze Age date (c.2350-801BC). Weight is 14.3g, incomplete length is 29.65mm, width is 25.31mm and thickness is 4.76mm. The cross section was probably originally a flattish oval with the edges tapering out very thin, now mostly missing. The upper and lower surfaces do not seem to have had a higher point/ridged longitudinal centre despite the presence of corrosion product and some patches where the original surface seems to be missing.

A fragment of copper-alloy blade that weighs 24.12g, has an incomplete length of 44.3mm, width of 22.9mm and thickness of 5.4mm. This fragment has a relatively fresh transverse break at both ends and a narrow pointed oval cross-section. Patches of corrosion and light green patina are present on this artefact.
This blade fragment is probably from an artefact of Bronze Age date.
This fragment cross-fits with fragment CAM-14C0B5. This fragment may possibly be from an object similar to that shown in Watson, P., 1993 Catalogue of British and European Prehistoric Metalwork in Birmingham Ci…

A fragment of a copper-alloy blade of probable middle Bronze Age date. The general form and dimensions of this piece suggest that it came from a long, slender implement, such as a dirk or rapier; the narrowness and thinness would seem to preclude the possibility of it being from a sword. The piece has roughly parallel sides and is of thin lozenge-shaped section, with bevelled edges. The top and bottom edges are almost horizontal, but the jagged nature of these edges suggest that this piece was broken (albeit possibly deliberately) rather than cut. The surfaces have a dark blueish-green…
