An incomplete knapped and pressure flaked barbed and tanged arrowhead Late neolithic to early bronze age (c. 2500 BC-1500 BC). Arrowheads such as this Sutton Type B arrowhead (Green 1980) are commonly associated with the emergence of the Beaker phenomenon in Britain. The arrowhead is made of grey semi translucent flint with cherty (likely fossil) inclusions. The arrowhead is missing its very tip and one barb (likely due to weakness in the cherty inclusion). The remaining barb is hollow based Length: 17.9mm Width: 15.7mm Thickness: 4.2mm Weight: 0.88g

Early Bronze Age flint barbed and tanged arrowhead The arrowhead is near-complete, missing the tip and is slightly asymmetric with near-straight and gradually convergent sides. The arrowhead has been bi-facially pressure flaked, equally on the two faces. One face is more convex, presumably the original dorsal surface of the flake. The flint is non-cortical and has patinated white. Surviving length of 21.9mm; maximum width across the barbs of 18.8mm; a maximum thickness above the tang of 4.7mm and a weight of 1.3g

Early Bronze Age flint barbed and tanged arrowhead (2,500 – 1,500 BC). The arrowhead is complete except for a little damage to the barbs. It is 20.5mm long, 4.1mm thick and has a maximum surviving width across the barbs of 19.3mm. The arrowhead was made on a cortical flake and areas of patination survive on both faces, suggesting that the arrowhead may have been reworked from an earlier tool or debitage. The patinated areas are a pale blue, while the rest of the surface is unpatinated and dark grey. The arrowhead weighs 1.3g.
