A copper alloy late Bronze Age socketed axehead dating from about 1140 BC - 1000 BC. It is a type Fulford socketed axe. The axe is sub-rectangular in plan and wedge-shaped in cross-section. It has a square socket with a moulded triple collar, wider at the top. The sides expand slightly, and then curve at the tips. It is incomplete and very damaged, so only small areas of the original surface survive. They are decorated on both faces with short sub-parallel and irregular lentoid grooves (rain pattern). The palstave is a transitional type with a deeply undercut stop. It has a thin butt with flanges that expand from the end of the butt to the stop in a triangular shape. A copper alloy fragment of a Middle or Late Bronze Age dirk or rapier dating from the Penard phase, about 1300 BC - 1140 BC. Only the butt end survives. The rapier or dirk is would have had a blade likely to be about 300mm long which would have originally tapered to a fine point.  The blade is a shallow oval in cross-section (characteristic of Group 4 rapiers) and bevelled. A complete Late Bronze Age socketed axe of Type Welby dating from the Ewart Park phase, about  1000 - 800 BC. The mouth of the axe is sub-rectangular. There is a thick  and slightly everted collar moulding. There is no casting seam on the inside of the socket but the seams are visible on the outer afces.
