Bronze palstave axe from the Arreton or Acton Park phases dating to c.1700-1400 BC It is mostly complete although the end of the butt is missing. The flanges are very low and one side is alomost completely lost. The septum is flat and leads to quite a deep stop. Below the stop the upper part of the blade has a central ridge on both sides. The blade appears complete with a widening towards the end. The patina is uneven with patches of brown and green in an irregular pattern.
