Two flint flakes in mid to pale grey flint with white re-formed cortex. 1. Roughly rectangular, crudely struck off a large platform. Bulb of percussion and percussion waves, two parallel arises from previous removals on the slightly concave dorsal face. The original cortex remains down the left edge (of the ventral face). The distal end and right edge have numerous chips but these are not obviously retouch and may be later damage. 43.4mm long, 38.4mm wide, 12.7mm thick and weighs 19.60 grams. 2. Knapped flint barbed and tanged arrowhead dating from the Late Neolithic to Middle Bronze Age (c. 2500 BC - c.1150 BC). The arrowhead is bifacially worked and triangular in plan, with two notches in the base, between a central tang and a barb at either side. One barb has been lost to an old break and the other is small and triangular and may have lost its tip. The tang is triangular and relatively large. The tip is also lost to an old break. Three sherds of probably Late Bronze Age to Early Iron Age pottery. Mid to dark brown fabric, abundent flint temper. Two are highly abraded, one has fresher breaks and is from a finely made vessel with thin (6.5mm) walls. 14.9 grams.
