An almost complete Middle Bronze Age palstave axe of the Group 3 type dating to c. 1400 – 1150 BC. The blade is broadly triangular in shape with slightly convex sides and a wide cutting edge. The cutting edge measures 43.5mm in width and is 1.6mm thick at the edge. The cutting edge is blunt. The septum (the area between the flange facets and the stop ridge) gradually tapers towards the butt and is a broad U shape and measures 59.1mm in length. A fragment of a cast copper alloy socketed axe of Late Bronze Age date (1000 - 800 BC). The object can be classified as the Ewart Park phase of metalwork. The object has been deliberately cut just above the base of the socket. The object is sub-rectangular in plan with the cutting edge flaring outwards to form a convex cutting edge. The cutting edge is almost complete. It measures 43.43mm in width and is 0.85mm thick. At the base of the socket the object measures 32.27mm in width and is 15.69mm thick. A complete cast copper alloy developed flat axe of dating from the Early to Middle Bronze Age. The axe is a narrow butted flat axe with a median bevel / proto stop ridge 52.70mm from the butt end. It has straight sides, a rounded butt and a flared cutting edge with concave shoulders. The cutting edge is crescentric in plan and measures 1.68mm thick. The point before the prepared cutting edge measures 9.86mm thick. The butt is 17.68mm wide and 1.29mm thick, and the width at the median bevel / proto stop ridge is 26.96mm.
