An incomplete cast copper alloy Post Medieval dress hook or fastening. The body of the dress hook is sub-oval in plan with stamped decoration on the upper surface. The decoration consists of a border of annulets with crescents and blocks of fine ribbing within. The upper tip of the body has an incomplete circular perforation. There is also a lug either side of the body, one of which is complete and has a central perforation. The lower edge has the remains of a short, but wide hook which curls forward. A complete medieval buckle frame, circa 14th century in date. The frame is oval in shape, 35.49mm in width and 20.93mm in length. The outer edge has a central moulded cat-like head projecting from its centre, with tall ears and a short snout. There are projecting knobs where the frame meets the bar, which is offset and narrowed.

A complete copper-alloy medieval circa 14th century strap end. Rectangular in shape with a rounded terminal end with a small projecting knop in its centre. Measuring 21.40mm in length and 13.26mm in width. There are two opposing copper-alloy rivets, one through the centre of either end. The strap end is filled with soil but probably has a sheet spacer occupying its whole width.

Silver short cross penny of uncertain ruler 1180-1247. The coin has been poorly struck with the best preserved face being the obverse. The reverse is a mirror negative image of the obverse and none of the lower die impression survives. This has been caused by the moneyer making a mistake during striking. The moneyer has not removed the previous struck coin from the die, which has stuck to the lower part of the die, and then been over-struck by this coin. This has resulted in a good obverse impression and the details of the other coin being impresssed in the negative on the reverse. …

Late Mesolithic/ Neolithic notched and reworked flint implement, ?borer. It measures 70.9x40.8x10.6mm and weighs 26.84g. The upper left dorsal edge has a very wide and sharp retouched notch 27.5mm wide, 15mm deep and in places 5.5mm high. The working is abrupt. The lower right dorsal edge has crude semi-abrupt retouch. The mesial right dorsal edge has a smaller retouched notch 12.5mm wide and 5mm deep. The flint is heavily patinated except where retouch show the dark/ black of the flint beneath.

The flint is 100% heavily patinated with a few patches of iron staining.

Copper alloy furniture fitting dating to the post-medieval period. It is most likely to be a decorative handle. The object consists of 2 parts which have been combined to make the handle. The piece which attaches to the furniture is a screw which leads to a circular disc (which would have been flat against the surface of the piece of furniture) at the top of a cylinder.
