A cast copper alloy double looped buckle frame. The buckle frame and strap bar survive intact, but the pin is missing. There are small knops at the ends of the strap bar. The loops have pointed outer edges.
The metal is a dark greyish-green colour. These buckles date from circa 1350 - 1650. Parallels for this type of buckle can be seen in Whitehead (2003), p53 and Egan (2005), p35, Fig.17.
