A fragment of a Medieval copper alloy rotary key dating from AD 1270 - 1500.
The bow and most of the stem is missing. The stem is circular in cross section, hollow at the terminal end, and solid at the opposite end towards the bow, where there is an old break visible. The bit is rectangular. It has a deep cleft in the leading edge and smaller cleft in the rear edge. The the outer edge is sub rectangular and solid with no clefts. An incomplete strip of decorated gold ribbon, dating to the Bronze Age (2350 - 800 BC). The ribbon is rectangular in plan but has become bent in some areas probably due to post depositional damage. One edge of the ribbon has slightly rounded corners and does not appear to be broken unlike the opposite edge which appears to have been cut, resulting in one of the corners protruding jaggedly from the diagonal cut. An incomplete Post Medieval lead alloy cuff button dating from the 18th century. The button illustrates a standing figure right with sword raised with a ship to his left. This is probably commemorating Vice Admiral Vernon (mid-late 18th century). The cuff link celebrates the capture of the Spanish Caribbean depot of Porto Bello in the isthmus of Panama in November 1739.

A circular lead disc, possibly a box lid dating to the period c. AD 1300-1400. The disc is decorated on one side only with a shield bearing three lions passant guardant facing right (the arms of England) with a palm branch along each side of the shield and an illegible inscription or decoration around. The reverse is plain and undecorated. On one side of the disc, at the lower point of the shield, are two flattened loops, probably hinge lugs.

A copper alloy handle lug from a chafing dish handle dating to the late medieval to early post medieval period (c. AD 1400-1600).
The lug is oval in plan and rectangular in cross-section with rounded corners. At one end is the stub of a circular rivet which would have attached to the vessel wall. The loop has a slightly off centre hole through it, to hold the handle (diameter 6.9mm). It has a dark green / brown patina.

A fragment of gold, likely hack gold from a penannular bracelet of Bronze Age date, possibly c.1100-850 BC.
Description: The object is broadly 'axe-shaped' with a sub-circular terminal that tapers to a flat rectangular cross section. This was likely achieved by cutting and hammering. The tapered end has been cut, indicated by a bright rugged cut. The terminal also appears to have been cut from a larger object and then hammered smooth. The gold has a rich, bright yellow colour.
