This is a very tentative identification. There is a central perforation which appears drilled from the obverse. Any obverse legend appears to have been lost to circumferential depletion.. A quite corroded Roman copper-alloy sestertius, probably of Faustina II, under Marcus Aurelius (AD.161-180), dating to the period AD.161-175 (Reece Period 8) [MATRI MAGNAE] reverse type depicting Cybele seated right. Mint of Rome. RIC III, p. 346, cf. no.1663. Although the obverse legend is unclear, the bust appears to be of Faustina II, rather than Lucilla. Furthermore, this type is much rarer for Lucilla.

The coin has a deep v- shaped knick on the outer edge of the flan before AVGUSTA. Measurements: 17mm in diameter, 2mm thick and 2.3g in weight.
