Mint of Rome. RIC II, p. 289, cf. no. 636 - no. 636 is only recorded for a sestertius; an as with a different obverse legend is recorded as RIC 639. However, in the most recent corpus of coins of Trajan, B. Woytek, Moneta Imperii Romani 14: Reichspragung des Kaisers Traianus (98-117) (Vienna, 20010), this type is recorded for an as: MIR p. 427, no. 478b.

Bernard Woytek, author of Moneta Imperii 14: Die Reichspragung des Kaisers Traianus (98-117) (Vienna, 2010) has rightly noted that the reverse is very worn and the identification has to remain tentative.
