Cutting edge and part of the body of a Late Bronze Age socketed axehead, of mid-green patination, most of the upper part is broken in antiquity. the break is abraded and a lighter colour to the original surfaces, as is the the remains of the the cutting edge, now truncated by surface loss. Depth of remaining socket: 16 mm. 1000 to 700 BC.

A possible incomplete copper alloy Bronze Age hammer, c. 1500-1000 BC. The artefact has a square-based pyramid shape with four broken, tapering, undecorated sides. The square base has a roughly circular hole revealing a hollow centre. On the corner of two sides are worn edges suggesting that there was a pre-existing hole on this face, possibly indicating that a wooden handle was inserted through this hole. Unidentified copper alloy object of unknown date.  The artefact comprises a sub-rectangular solid copper-alloy strip with tapering sides and curved ends. Both faces are undecorated. The artefact has a sub-rectangular cross section. It has a brown patina with patches of green copper corrosion and significant surface pitting. The overall shape and form resembles an Early Medieval strap end, but the artefact lacks a bifurcated end or another method of attachment, like rivets or suspension loops.

Complete Post Medieval copper alloy possible sword or dagger pommel, c. 1400-1600 AD. The pommel is broadly circular in plan with a central oval perforation (diameter: 7.17mm) on the upper face matched by a rectangular perforation (diameter: 6.73mm) within a central projection on the opposing side. An incomplete copper alloy arm from a pair Roman or Early Medieval tweezers, c. 43-700 AD.  Made from a single sheet of copper alloy, the artefact comprises a splayed triangular plate tapering upwards into an integral arm which has been broken. Very faint transverse line decoration is visible at the junction between the plate and the arm. The metal has a mid-green and brown patina and is very worn with large patches of visible corrosion. A complete lead alloy weight dating to the post medieval period (c.AD 1500-1700). The weight is bun-shaped with a flat base and rounded face. The face is deeply inscribed with VIII which attests to its weight as nearly 8oz. The object has a dark cream patina. Dimensions: Diameter 45mm; width 17mm; weight 214.84g The weight almost corresponds with the mass of 8 oz under the ‘binary’ averdepois system that was standardised in 1588 (1992, 44).
