An incomplete cast copper alloy belt fitting. The object is formed from a strip of copper alloy. One terminal is broken but features a large, circular ring, with a circular perforation. It is flanked either side by a thin collar. The piece then extends into a strip of copper alloy with a D-shaped section. The terminal is rounded and features a rivet hole. The copper alloy rivet remains in situ, it is bent. The metal is a dark brownish-green colour and only slightly pitted. A similar belt fitting can be seen in Egan and Pritchard, p214, fig: 134.

A fragment of an Anglo-Scandinavian strap-end (Thomas classification Class E). The strap end has been made from a single plate of cast copper alloy. The attachment end is stepped is missing due to the break, which has occurred half way along the length of the strap end. The main body is tongue shaped, with a slight border around the edge of the tongue. The front plate is decorated with a complex Borre-style interlacing, geometric design. The reverse is undecorated. The metal is a light greyish-green colour. The piece dates from 900 - 1000.

An incomplete copper alloy strap slide fragment. The main plate is an elongated lozenge shape, with well rounded edges. There is a central rib running along the centre of the bezel, this has a square section. Either side of the rib there is an incised ring and dot motif. There is also an incised line around the edge of the bezel. The surviving part of the loop has a squared off D-shaped section and terminate in worn breaks. The metal is a mid brownish-green colour.

A fragment of a vessel of Roman date. The fragment is part of the base of a Samian ware vessel. The fragment has a rectangular section which narrows towards the base and numerous white inclusions are present within the fabric. Only a small amount of the vessel proper remains with most having been broken off. The breaks are very old and worn. The interior of the base of the vessel fragment is decorated with a series of diagonally orientated incised lines. An incomplete cast copper alloy strap slide of late Iron Age to early Roman date. The object is formed from two prominent domes within a raised circular border forming the typical Iron Age style "eye" design. To the outer edges of the fitting the borders taper to a point. The reverse of the strap slide is largely flat except for two small concave areas beneath the dome features. A complete cast copper alloy buckle and plate of medieval date. The buckle frame is a single loop D-shape with a narrowed and recessed strap bar. The frame is decorated with diagonal incised lines grouped in twos. There is no notch for the pin. The reverse of the frame is flat and undecorated. The D-shaped sectioned pin survives in tact. The buckle plate is rectangular and is decorated on one face with a zig-zag border. Five rivet holes are present, one in each corner and one placed centrally. A complete cast copper alloy apothecary's weight of post-medieval date. The weight is square in plan and rectangular in section and is marked on both sides with four annulets. These annulets represent the value of the weight. A fifth mark is present on both sides and is possibly a makers' mark or the owners initials though it is now illegible. The metal is a mid brownish-green colour and is only slightly worn. The weight measures 14mm long, 12.9mm wide, 4.6mm thick and weighs 6.1g. An incomplete cast copper alloy strap end of medieval date. The strap end consists of a forked spacer with two prongs forming a V-shape which terminate in a long collared acorn design. Two undecorated rectangular plates of equal length are attached to the forked spacer by two rivets situated at either end. The plates taper and narrow to accommodate the beginning of the collar. The metal has a light brownish-green patina and is worn. The strap end is 42.2mm long, 6.5mm wide, 12.9mm thick and weighs 3.4g. Similar examples can be seen in Egan & Pritchard, p.144, fig.94.

An incomplete cast copper alloy strap fitting of post-medieval date. The fitting is heart shaped with a collared stem projecting from the pointed end. The stem is broken and worn. The reverse of the fitting is flat and undecorated with two attachment rivets projecting from opposite ends. These are also broken and worn The metal is a dark brownish-green colour and is worn. The fitting is 23.7mm long, 17.3mm wide, 1.9mm thick and weighs 2.5g. It is possible that this fitting is part of a sword belt fitting.
