A fragment of a cast copper-alloy purse (Williams Class A2) of medieval date (c.AD 1450-1550).  Description: The purse remains as one terminal end of the frame which is rectangular in cross-section with a perforated semi-circular plate on the bottom edge, and an expanded terminal. The frame is engraved on both sides with the letters PLE // NA . dO. The object has a light green and red-brown patina. An incomplete copper-alloy buckle of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1690 - 1720.  The buckle is sub-rectangular with a drilled frame for a separate spindle. Moulded transverse grooves are present over each spindle hole. The spindle is retained around which a triangular pin is fitted by a closed loop. A ‘cooking-pot’ chape is also retained around the spindle, though the outer edge is lost to worn breaks. Patches of a white metal coating are present on the surface of the buckle. An incomplete early post Medieval cast copper alloy dress hook with a trapezoidal attachment loop and an openwork plate in the form of a trefoil Hungerford knot, with each running-end of the cord terminating in a moulded tassel at a corner of the attachment loop. At the centre of the knot is a corroded boss, possibly a rosette or a human facing-mask. The front end and hook is missing.

A ceramic sherd from the rim of a Medieval vessel, dating from about AD 1100 - 1500. The fabric is hard, irregular and buff coloured throughout. It has frequent quartz inclusions that break the surface. The rim is square, forming an external flange, and has a slight lip forming a seating for a lid. An incomplete copper-alloy strap end of Early-Medieval date, c.AD 750 - 950. The strap end is of Thomas' Class A, Type 2 with patterned decoration. A complete medieval cast copper alloy strap end with openwork plates on both sides; one with a quatrefoil and one with an elongated heart shaped cutaway. The sides are comprised of a separate strip of metal, giving the strap end a hollow interior. The front end is rounded and the rear end is scalloped. There are three rivets holding the object together, two at the rear and one at the front.
