A backed bladelet, pinkish brown in colour, uni-facially retouched and expediently made. The left margin of the dorsal face exhibits partial retouch of abrupt angle and is of edge type extent. The form of this microlith lends itself to the idea that this may have been utilised as a burin. Bond (2005) illustrates a similar example on p119, fig 5.103, 45 which dates to the Mesolithic.

A backed bladelet, mid-brown in colour, uni-facially retouched and expediently made. The left margin of the dorsal face exhibits partial retouch with a low angle and is of edge type extent. The right margin exhibits partial retouch, close to the distal end, with an abrupt angle and is of edge type extent as an aid to backing. A notch is present close to the distal end of the right margin but it is uncertain whether this was deliberately made or if it was caused by later damage. Pierponts (1981) illustrates a similar example on p29, fig 34, 21 which dates to the Mesolithic

The left margin of the dorsal face exhibits discontinuous retouch with an abrupt angle and is of edge type extent (backed). This flint has been soft hammered and snapped at the proximal end. A notch is present roughly at the mid-point of the right margin but it is uncertain whether this was deliberately made or if it was caused by later damage. Small piece of grey flint, the dorsal face appears to be pitted possible result of being subject to intense heat. The left margin has been backed to the medial from the distal, while the right margin is blade like and pointed at the distal end. The proximal end is blunt (possible attachment for composite tool). The ventral face is smooth with the exception of an indentation near the distal end, possible result of exposure to heat. Appears to be a micro backed bladelet.
