A worn and corroded copper-alloy Nummus (AE 3) of The House of Valentinian; SECVRITAS REIPVBLICAE reverse type; AD 364 - 378; Lyon mint. The edges of the coin appear to have been deliberately shaped to give two opposing lobes. The coin measures 16.64mm in diameter, 1.48mm thick and weighs 1.75g.
