A fragment of a copper-alloy late early medieval, or Viking Age, cheekpiece, cheekpieces were worn in pairs and each is pierced with a round hole through which the ends of the jointed iron bit projected. Only a fragment of the flat plate and of the central hole survives as well as the knob which originally was at the base of a loop, the latter is now missing. This cheekpiece seems most likely to be Williams Type 1, it is very worn with no visible decoration evident. (Williams 2007).

A complete cast copper alloy early medieval (Anglo Saxon) strap end (cf. Thomas Class A2h). The plate is narrow and oval, waisted to a flared rear end which is characteristically split but incomplete having broken across the rivet holes on the edge. The front of the plate is decorated with cross hatching or lattice decoration within a linear border. The terminal is zoomorphic, although now too worn for much detail to be visible.

A complete copper-alloy Early Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) cruciform brooch detachable side knob. It is half round, with a slot and hole for pin on the base. It is semi-oval in cross section. It has a lozenge shaped dome, tapering into a waist before terminating in the base. Due to its half round shape, it conforms to Cruciform Brooch Phase B, dating to 475-550AD (Martin, 2015, pg 128).

A fragment of an Early Medieval copper-alloy cruciform brooch dating to circa AD 475-550. The extant piece consists of a side knop which would have been attached to the headplate of the brooch.. It is dumbbell shaped in plan and plano-convex in section, with a flat reverse. The front face consists of two lobes joined by a constricted mid-setion. Each lobe is decorated with three incised transverse grooves. At the efge of one of the lobes is a shall median rectangular groove which would have facilitated attachment to the brooch. Only the headplate and part of the bow has survived. The headplate comprises a trefoil head with three projecting sub-rectangular lobes with semi-circular cut aways at each angle. An incomplete cast copper-alloy disc brooch of Early-Medieval date. It is missing a small part of the plate and pin due to old breaks. The brooch has a flat circular plate with openwork and moulded decoration, although corroded. A complete probable miscast and/or unfinished copper-alloy catch piece sleeve clasp of C6th date. Consisting of a rectangular bar with a rectangular catch element projecting from the centre of othe front edge. The object appears to have been made in a two-piece mould, and there are casting flashes of metal surviving which in a finished object would have been filed away. No decoration can be seen and there is not evidence of lugs.

An incomplete Early Medieval copper-alloy ansate brooch dating to circa AD 700-1000. Cast in one piece it consists of two flat discoidal terminals at either end. One terminal appears to have been slightly miscast with a circular protrusion projecting from one edge. The bow has a triangular-section and is curved in profile. The terminals and bow are undecorated. Projecting from the reverse of one of the terminals is a heavily corroded lug which would have held the now missing pin. There is now no trace of a catchplate projecting from the reverse of the other terminal.

An early medieval (Anglo-Saxon) cast copper alloy saucer brooch, dating to c. AD.450-550. The front of the brooch is dished, with an angular and upturned rim around; this is incomplete on one side. The front of the brooch is decorated with a five pointed star pattern formed by double-ridged concave arcs enclosed by an engraved concentric line around a small central boss. There is no trace of gilding. The reverse has an in-line hinge lug and catchplate. There is extensive deposition of iron corrosion products around the hinge lug from a now lost iron spring and pin.
