Copper alloy coin. Nummus of Valens (364-378), Victory left issue of Arles mint, Reece period 19; chipped. In excellent condition save for the chip, which is very recent; despite this, neither the mintmark, along with its diminutive precursor 'x', was located in RIC.

Reverse description: Victory advancing left with wreath and palm, the Victory appears pregnant, with a vertically lined gown and chemise. OF I in field.
