Copper alloy seal matrix. Cast circular matrix with a tapered faceted handle with a collared trefoil suspension loop. The handle and loop are abraded but the engraved matrix remains crisp. It depicts [on the imprint] a stag running left, with the legend: *TIMET  E DEVM [he fears God?] – this reporter would welcome a reading making better use of the middle E character.
