Fragments from a handmade clamp-fired vessel; the thickness of the wall [up to 14mm] may suggest this was a large storage vessel. Copper alloy brooch fragment. Cast strip bow brooch, possibly Mackreth type DURO 5.c or Durotrigan. A straight-sided strip bow retaining a fragment of a backward-rolled head tapers to a rounded foot with the stub of a folded catch plate behind it. A tripartite longitudinal design entails two pairs of billeted strands with a plain zone between them, interrupted by a broad horizontal groove whose position corresponds to the top of the catch plate.
