A fragment of a copper alloy buckle of probable early medieval date (c.500-700) Description: The object remains as approximately two thirds of the frame of a single looped buckle, oval in cross-section. The frame thickens and widens towards the the pin rest, where it has broken. At the other end, the frame is broken at the strap bar. The object surface is worn and corroded and grey green all over.  Measurements: length: 24.7mm; width 18.5mm; height: 7.4mm maximum; thickness: 4.9mm maximum; weight: 6.62g.

A complete Mesolithic flint tranchet axehead dating to circa 10000-4000 BC, 101.6mm in length and struck from a brown flint. The tool is extensively worked on all sides with soft-hammered removals and has a lenticular cross section. The cutting edge is rounded and symmetrical, with a triangular side profile and evidence for a tranchet removal on one face. A portion of grey cortex remains on the butt end.

A fragment of a Post Medieval Frechen stoneware "Bartmann" or "Bellarmine" bottle, dating to the 16th-17th century. The fabric is hard fired and reduced grey with a brown salt glaze on the external surface and a pale brown slip on the internal surface. The external surface has part of an applied portrait medallion, possibly showing the lower portion of a bearded face.

Silver gilt finger ring with a circular raised cup bezel dating to c. 1200-1450. The ring has a plain wire band that is a shallow 'D' shape in section, and which thickens toward the bezel. The top of the band near to the bezel shows a central ridge on both sides of the shoulders, tapering down before eventually disappearing into the band. The ring is misshapen. An incomplete Medieval copper alloy key handle, dating AD 1350-1500. All that remains is the handle of a composite key, with the shank and bit probably having been made of iron and subsequently degraded in the ground. The copper alloy handle is in the shape of a quatrefoil., with th etop lobe being slightly pointed. There is a squared open section at the base, in which the iron key would have been inserted. A Post Medieval trapezoidal buckle, dating AD 1620-1680. The buckle is formed of two loops, each trapezoidal in shape. At each corner is a rounded projection and the shortest arms of the frame are roughly semi-circular. There are two rounded projections, one at either end of the axial bar. The pin survives and is formed of copper alloy wire, with one end wrapped around the axial bar. There appears to be a white metal coating in places, possibly silver or tin.
