A secondary flake with retouching dating to the Bronze Age.It has been manufactured from a fine grained grey flint core with remains of cortex. The ventral face bears concentric ripples and the dorsal face has a longitudinal ridge along the axis; it shows traces of previous knapping. The edges of the flake have traces of sub-parallel abrupt retouches.

A fragment of a copper-alloy Girdle Hanger or symbolic key dating to the Early Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) period, c. 480-570AD. The bottom of the shaft and part of E-shaped terminal are preserved. It is decorated with transverse grooves and ring and dot motif. It is a Felder type B2f, inclined upward closed terminal frame with plain prong ends.
This is an Early Anglo-Saxon girdle hanger, an object typically found in burial contexts associated with women. It finds parallels in other examples from Suffolk (see for example West, 1998: nos. 36.2, 53.1-2).

A complete cast copper-alloy end-looped cosmetic pestle dating to the late Iron Age or early Roman period, c. 1-200 AD. It consists of a flattened sub-circular sectioned rod with one end pointed and the other demonstrating an integrally cast end-loop. It is plain with no decorative elements. It measures 49.38mm in length, 4.53mm in width and 8.95g in weight.

An incomplete, bent and extremely corroded cast copper alloy Roman bow brooch of Colchester derivative two piece front-hooked type, dating to the first century AD. The arms are semi-cylindrical and there is a stump for a spring hook at the front of the head. The bow tapers and curves back from the head, with a sub rounded cross section and a ridged spine. The bow tapers to a triangular foot with a stump of a catchplate beneath.

A complete copper alloy probable medieval swivelling strap fitting. The object consists of a circular cross-sectioned hoop with a oval section projecting from one side. There is a circular hole, c.7mm at its widest point, through the centre of the oval section. The circular hole is faceted on both faces, suggesting that a moveable component was attached here originally. An incomplete lead Papal bulla probably of Pope Nicholas III (1277-80). It has been folded and broken post-deposition, neither the reverse or obverse are entirely clear. An incomplete copper-alloy Roman centre looped cosmetic pestle. It is formed from a long curved rod, circular in cross-section and becoming narrower towards each end, which terminates in a blunt point, one of which terminates in an old break. Projecting from the centre of the upper edge is a flattened sub-circular loop, which is circular in cross-section. The surface of the metal has a shiny green-brown patina.

It has moulded transverse raised ribs on the wings, with the remains of a potential rear-hook at the top of the bow. The bow has a central moulded raised rib, but is corroded towards an old break.
