An incomplete unusual lead alloy flat pointed oval 'vessica' seal matrix of the medieval period, probably 14th century.
This is a flat seal matrix, shaped as a pointed oval. It is 34.5mm long, 23.1mm wide, 4.3mm thick (excluding the loop) and weighs 13.2g. The surfaces are a mid-brown colour with a buff-coloured patina, particularly on the reverse and in the recesses of the die.

An incomplete copper alloy button and loop toggle fastener from the late Iron Age to early Roman period (C. BC 150-AD 100).
The artefact comprises a solid, elongate copper alloy object formed in three parts. The central portion comprises a circular segment with projecting 'button' which is decorated with intersecting transverse and longitudinal ridges creating a chequerboard design which may have been filled with (now-lost) enamel. On the opposing side of the central segment is a projecting sprue which may have extended into a (now-lost) attachment loop.

A fragment from the blade of a copper alloy Bronze Age palstave axehead dating from the Middle Bronze Age (c.1600-1150 cal BC).
This is the blade end of a bronze age axehead. It is solid and of sub-rectangular cross-section, having two short curved and two long curved sides. The fragment tapers to the edged blade, which is slightly recurved.

Circular in plan with a convex obverse and flat reverse, the entire object has been irregularly cast and has an irregular flan, casting dimple on the reverse and sloped domed obverse. The obverse is pitted through corrosion. It has a cream and dark grey patina.

A copper alloy brooch/badge of the Modern period (c.1930-1950AD ).
The brooch has an elongate S-shaped plan with bifoliate terminals. The central portion widens to reveal a cavity with five circular dimples, presumably settings for now-lost crystals, glass or enamel insets. An additional knop composed of three circular plano-convex additions provides the surface for the attachment of the brooch hinge on the reverse.
