A scrap of thick [1mm] sheet metal with the impression either of a domed rivet head or a stamped ring and dot, of diameter 10mm and rust-stained, on one side; and the edge of a punched hole of diameter 2.4mm on the other. Suggested date: possibly Late Medieval to Post-Medieval, 1350-1650

Much of the extremities and lower half of the coin is covered in a reddish copper colour.

Copper alloy brooch of Colchester derivative, possible Polden Hill type. This has concave wings, but both ends are truncated making it impossible to determine the spring mounting method. The head of the bow is decorated with two vertical grooves. The lower half of the bow is truncated.

An incomplete copper-alloy Romanesque style buckle of medieval date.c.AD 1150 – 1250.
The buckle is D-shaped with a steeply angled outer curved edge which tapers to either end, narrowing to rounded knops. The knops are worn with breaks to the outer edges from which the now missing bar would have extended.

A Late Medieval to Post Medieval copper alloy jetton struck in Tournai, circa 1497-1521. Obverse: four lis in a lozenge within a four-arched tressure, trefoils in the spandrels. Reverse: cross patty. Legends illegible, probably illiterate. As Mitchiner 726-729.
These jettons were struck mainly in Tournai during the reign of Louis XII (1497-1515) but also struck during the reign of Francis I (1515-1547) up to the year 1521 when Tournai was occupied by Charles V.

An incomplete copper alloy unlooped palstave of Middle Bronze Age date (c. 1500-1300BC).Probably an early palstave of Group I - shield pattern type.
The blade of the palstave is triangular shaped in plan with expanding sides. The cutting edge measures 37.4 mm in width and is 4.4 mm thick. The cutting edge is blunt. The septum (the area between the flange facets and the stop ridge) gradually tapers towards the butt and is a broad U shape, measuring 57.4 mm in length. A fragment from a Middle to Late Bronze Age spearhead. Only part of the blade and midrib survive.
The fragment is broadly rectangular in plan having three regular linear breaks running at right angles to the surviving blade edge. This edge is rounded and shows no signs of damage. After c.11.3mm the plate splits to from what would have been a hollow probably circular/oval midrib. One of these plates has been slightly squashed against the other. There is possibly a small incised channel running along the edge of the midrib seen on both surfaces.
The fragment is a medium green colour.
