An incomplete later Neolithic flint arrowhead, probably of oblique type. The arrowhead is triangular with one small barb and concave rear edge. The opposing corner of the rear has broken away, but probably had a longer second barb, although no trace now remains. The edges are bifacially worked with low angle scaled retouch. A patch of cortex remains on the dorsal surface.

A Medieval to Post Medieval cast lead uniface token of Powell type 14 dating c. AD 1400-1700. The token is disc-shape with worn tabs projecting from opposing edges and a flat reverse. The front face has a cast raised cross design with four circular pellets - one in each angle - within a slightly raised, very worn, boarder. The patina is light grey.
The token measures 18.7mm in length, 14.2mm in width and 2.5mm in thickness. It weighs 3 grams.

A Roman Nene Valley Colour Coated Ware (NVCCP) pedestal base from a beaker dating to the mid 2nd to 4th century AD. The fabric is hard fired and reduced pale grey with abundant very fine sand inclusions. The exterior has a barbotine slip decoration with a band of dashed lines with foliate tendrils above. Both inner and exterior surfaces have a dark brown slip. The interior surface is otherwise undecorated but has regular striations from the wheel turning process and the base, which is 28.4mm in diameter, has wire marks from removal from a wheel.

A fragment of Roman cast copper-alloy bracelet dating to the first century AD. The fragment is broadly rectangular in shape and cross-section with a transverse break at each end and straight sides. The surface is decorated with three lines of cable interspersed with grooves and ridges. The reverse is flat with two slightly raised longitudinal ridges. The patina is light green in colour.
The fragment measures 15.5mm in length, 14.4mm in width, 0.8mm in thickness and weighs 0.89 grams.

A cast lead octagonal 153.1g (5.4 oz) weight of uncertain age, but possibly dating to the Medieval period.
Sub-octagonal in plan, slightly bevelled sides to a domed central body. The face has a deeply moulded voided cross with a single pellet in each quarter and the remains of an iron suspension loop in the centre. The reverse is plain and slightly concave / dished, with the ends of the iron suspension loop wire showing as oxidised points. The surface displays a light grey colour.

A rim sherd from a flanged bowl of Roman greyware, probably Alice Holt ware (cf. Lyne & Jefferies (1979) Class 5B) and dating to the 4th century AD. The vessel is wheel-made with a hard fired sandy fabric which is reduced grey throughout. The rim is everted and beaded, the upper surface has a circumferential groove around the middle and is decorated with two bands of short radial stabbed or possibly rouletted lines. The original rim diameter was around 200mm.

An incomplete late Roman to Early Medieval copper alloy pin, dating to AD 300-500. The pin head is biconvex with a central ridge running around the circumference of the head, creating two halves. The top half narrows to a rounded point in the centre of the head, and is conical in shape. The lower half extends downwards in a conical shape, and narrows to the integral shaft. This has a raised collar, and is sub circular in shape. The pin is very worn, and is a light red brown colour. It meaures 20.1mm in length, 10.8mm by 10.1mm across the head, and weighs 3.99g.

An incomplete Roman cast copper-alloy harness fitting dating to the period AD 43-120. The fitting co prises part of the rectangular loop with a rectangular-sectioned frame. Integral to the surviving long edge is a pelta-shaped plate with a short curved arm missing hte tip. The opposite arm is missing. The centre of the plate extends slightly to a transverse break. The surfaces are very worn. The patina is light green.
The harness fitting measires 14.8mm long, 16.4mm wide, 2.4mm thick and weighs 1.40 grams.

A fragment of a lead alloy Pilgrim Badge of Medieval date (AD 1450-1550). The badge would probably have originally formed a circular disc, with raised decoration on the face. The decoration probably depicted St George riding a horse to the left, lancing a dragon below the horse or the drapery of the Virgin and Child. Running round the edge of the disc is a triple border of pellets. No attachments are retained on the back of the fragment.

A sherd from a Roman ceramic Samian ware vessel dating c. AD 43-260. The sherd comprises a fragment from the wall of a vessel. The sherd is trapezoidal with four broken edges, an undecorated plain interior and an abraded outer face. The fabric is fine and pale orange in colour with a glossy orange-red slip on both the inside and patches on the outer surface.
The fragment measures 26.8mm long, 22.7mm wide, 7.3mm thick and weighs 5.36 grams.

A complete copper alloy uniface coin weight, of Medieval dating (AD 1464 to AD 1500).
The weight is sub circular in plan. The obverse face bears a moulded design consisting of a king with sword and square topped shield standing in a ship with rectangular bow . The reverse face is plain and undecorated. Filemarks are visible on the reverse.
The coin weight has a diameter of 13.9 mm and is 3.3 mm thick. It weighs 3.1 g (47 grains).
The coin weight is a dark green colour, with an even surface patina.

A Post Medieval cast copper-alloy end cap from a scale tang knife dating c. 1500-1600. The end cap consists of a double (addorsed) horse hoof terminal with the hoofs curving away from each other. Each hoof is sub-oval in cross-section with a short projection on the outer edge. Where the hoofs conversge is a sgort groove. The outer sides curve inwardly to the base. The base has a slot filled with corroded rectangualr-sectioned iron blade.

The pyramidal weight has a circular flat base with a small central recess. The sides are almost vertical. The top is circular, with an integral flattened suspension loop, extending from the middle. A circular suspension hole is present in the suspension loop, with an internal diameter of 3.0 mm.

A complete copper alloy shoe / clog clasp dating to the post medieval period (c.AD 1700-1900).
The clasp is formed of a broadly shield-shaped plate that has a flat top and sides that gradually curve towards pointed end. Both ends present an integral hook that folds into the back of the object. The hook at the top is small and sub-rectangular in shape and the hook to the bottom is wide and pelta-shaped. The surface of the clasp is worn and abraded, no decoration appears to survive. It has a brown patina with patches of bright green corrosion.
