An incomplete openwork strap fitting of Roman date, c.AD 120 - 200. Nicolay Type B13.
The fitting is rectangular with a D-shaped section and three irregular sub-ovate perforation to the centre. Both ends of the fitting are raised and each of the two arms flanking the perforation have two, evenly space raised transverse ridges resulting in undulating D-shape section.
The remains of four integral, circular sectioned rivets would have projected from the reverse of the mount, one at each corner.
The fitting is 21.7 mm long, 20.5 mm wide, 5.7 mm thick. It weighs 6.3 g.

The weight is sub-cylindrical, with a central swelling. A single circular shaped hole is set off centre with an internal diameter of 6.0 mm.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy drop handle from a vessel of Medieval date circa AD 1270 -1600.
The incomplete handle consists of a zoomorphic terminal end, probably representing a dog's head. The terminal has a rivet through the centre of the mouth, with other features (eyebrows and hair ridges) defined by cast in relief with incised lines finishing the decoration.
It measures 22.2 mm in length, 17.0 mm wide and 13.8 mm thick. It weighs 21.2 g.

An incomplete lead alloy bridle boss dating to the Post Medieval period (1600-1750)
The boss consists of a slightly domed circular central boss. A small fragment has been removed from the outer edge. It is decorated with a plain raised circle in the centre. Surrounding this is a rope style border, then an alternating border comprised of a pellet and a diamond. Outside this is a plain rim. Then the level is lower for the final border which consists of raised pellets along the outer edge. The reverse is slightly concave.

An incomplete copper alloy cosmetic mortar, dating to Late Iron Age to the Early Roman dating (1st to 2nd Centuries AD).
The mortar is formed from a curved piece of copper alloy. The mortar has a U shaped cross section. It has an incomplete suspension loop situated on the upper edge on the opposing side to the groove. The loop has blunt terminals with well developed patinas suggesting an old break. The loop would have had a circular perforation when complete. Presumably this would have once been in the centre. A complete copper alloy pedestal / pendant seal matrix, of Medieval dating (AD 1200 to AD 1400).
The body of the matrix consists of a pedestal, created from a six sided tapering column. These terminate in an incomplete trefoil knop, with a circular suspension hole in the middle. The suspension loop is complete, and has an internal diameter of 2.6 mm. Two horizontal collars separate the suspension loop from the rest of the handle. The handle is flat and is orientated horizontally. The die or seal face is sub circular, with a diameter of 18.0 mm.

A complete copper alloy (bronze) copper-alloy Primary / Early phase Group III palstave of Middle Bronze Age dating (1500-1300 BC).
The object has a single midrib visible on both faces. The blade of the palstave is sub-triangular in plan, with convex expanding sides, and a convex cutting edge. The cutting edge is slightly damaged, but appears to be symmetrical. The cutting edge measures 49.9 mm in width and is 2.4 mm thick. The blade has a length of 90.0 mm.

An incomplete trumpet variation brooch of Roman dating (AD 100 to AD 200).
The head has no wings and in plan is a vertical oval. The spring, pin and axis bar are all missing, and the perforated lug which would have held the axis bar is broken. The strap fitting is cruciform in shape, with four projecting arms. Each arm is the same and terminates in an rounded knop, with a circular sectioned copper alloy rivet placed through it. Beneath the terminal knop is an openwork triangular shape, with rounded sides, which continue into a central square openwork. It represents a two strand ropework design. The edges have been rounded.
